Report about the Final Event of Federal Project
of the FEA (EPA) Germany

On 26./27.09.2006 the final workshop of the Federal Project took place in Grigoleti, Georgia that has been successfully carried out since 2003 under the expert monitoring of the FEA in South Caucasus.

The participants of this FEA event were experts and official representatives from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Belarus, the Republic of Moldova, the Slovakian Republic, the Ukraine, Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan and Kyrgistan.

In conjunction with the Workshop on 28.09.2006 the UNECE Joint Expert Group initiated a seminar “Integration of Monitoring Stations in Early Warning Systems (EWS) of the river basins“.
